8 Things Everyone Asks Us

When can I visit on a Sunday?

We have 2 weekend services you can attend. View our service times.

What do you believe?

Please see our Statement of Faith for a detailed description of what New Hope teaches and practices.

How can I contact the church?

Feel free to call during office hours at 517–339–9000 or discover all of our contact information on our contact page.

Is something provided for my children at all services?

NH Kids is available for infants through 6th grade at both 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Sundays.

1st – 6th grade kids are invited to get in on the action through our NH KidZone. Think kid friendly worship music, engaging Christ-centered videos combined with live Bible teaching, small group discussion and thought-provoking activities!

What makes New Hope unique?

New Hope practices four core values in everything that we do: learning, loving, worship, and prayer. You will find our take on a nondenominational, Bible-believing church refreshing and different. Check it out this weekend using our live stream or in person at our facility in East Lansing, Michigan.

What kind of worship music and style of service do you practice?

On Sundays the New Hope worship team serves up a contemporary, lively worship experience. Our services can be described as a fresh blend of reverent and authentic worship music rather than liturgical or traditional.

What should I wear to services?

Our pastors often wear jeans! NH provides a casual and inviting atmosphere for you to relax as you learn, love, worship and pray with us.

What kind of giving do you practice?

You won’t experience a high pressure giving pitch at New Hope. In fact, we don’t even pass an offering plate at our services! You’ll find discrete offering boxes located throughout the church and easy giving online.

How do I get connected to the church's CCB list?

You can log into your CCB account to access information about members, events and more. If you don’t already have an account, contact our office at [email protected]!

What are your protocols for safe in-person services?
