The Bruce’s Story
Sam and Kari Bruce have been serving in the South Pacific region since 2012. The Bruce’s living conditions are isolated and challenging, and their stories of rustic tribal life will inspire you.
Sam is working with the current church leaders on initial translation efforts of the Bible into their native language. The leaders have a hunger for God’s word, and with Sam’s help, they have started teaching a small group of men and women a chronological approach to Scripture (similar to the E2E series) in the Asmat language! Additionally, Kari continues to study language and culture as well as manage the household. We greatly anticipate worshipping God in eternity with tribal people who will hear of Christ through their ministry.
