This weekend, Pastor Gary Post will be teaching from Acts 18:1–17, which tells the story of the struggles that the Apostle Paul endured while establishing the first Christian church in the ancient city of Corinth. In the midst of hostility and opposition, God told Paul to "keep on speaking" and not to be afraid, because God would protect him from harm and would be with him while he carried out the ministry that God had called him to. The calling that Paul had to "keep on speaking" about Jesus in his day is the same calling that we have at our place in history—to invite those around us who are waiting to hear the good news of the gospel into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. This message will encourage you to represent Jesus Christ well in your words and actions to those around you.
How can we serve you?
The experience of knowing and walking with God greatly surpasses anything the world has to offer. If that experience feels far away to you, New Hope can help.
