Share the love of Jesus through the power of a simple gift.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

4 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

1. Fill a shoebox with small gifts (see list below).
2. Donate items to be used in boxes.
3. Sign up to receive shoeboxes that are dropped off at NH during National Collection Week, Nov. 18-25.
4. Donate money to sponsor a shoebox- $9 shipping.
   (Make a separate check payable to “Samaritan’s Purse”, label separate envelope and deposit in one of our Offering Boxes.)

GIFT IDEAS:

Toys

Small cars, balls, dolls, small stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch-A-Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky, etc.

School Supplies

Pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.

Hygiene Items

Toothbrushes, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), combs, washcloths, etc.

Other

T-shirts, socks, ball caps, flip flops, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)

Do NOT include

Toothpaste, candy or food, war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans; used or damaged items.
