New Hope Church and Stepping Stones Foundation are once again partnering to raise funds for books.  Age appropriate and wonderful children books will be purchased for each 3rd grade student at Mid Michigan Leadership Academy in Lansing.  During the semester, volunteers will read these stories to the students and then conduct lively discussions to extract moral truth and right behavior from these stories. Additionally, they’ll strive to emphasize the importance of reading to these students.

On January 28 and February 4, a table will be available in the atrium where you can learn more and donate to underwrite the cost of these books. Each student will get their very own copy to take home. Teachers and Administrators tell us most of these students have little or no positive reading material in their homes!

A donation of $7 will purchase one book or you can purchase books for your student for the entire semester for $20.
