Operation Christmas Child

Continue Our Tradition of Hope!

For years, our New Hope family has partnered with Operation Christmas Child, sending gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world. This project, a part of Samaritan’s Purse, is a tangible way we share God’s love and the good news of Jesus Christ with children facing poverty, disaster, and other hardships.

Each shoebox we pack is more than a gift; it is a powerful message of hope and a reminder that they are loved. We’ve seen firsthand the joy these gifts bring and the lasting impact they have as children are introduced to Christ’s love.

Here’s how you can be a part of this special mission:

1. Pick up a shoebox from the church atrium beginning Oct. 11.
2. Fill it with gifts for a boy or girl in one of the age categories (2-4, 5-9, or 10-14).
3. Return your filled shoebox to the New Hope Ministry Center, located at 1340 Haslett Road, during the week of Nov. 15-23.

For more information, including a list of gift suggestions and a guide on how to pack your shoebox, please visit the Operation Christmas Child website at samaritanspurse.org/occ or contact Pastor Rich Bruce at [email protected].

Let’s work together to continue this incredible tradition of bringing joy and hope to children around the globe!
