Founded in 2007, New Hope began with a handful of people engaged in prayer specifically regarding God’s direction for launching a Bible-focused church. The church was launched at 1340 Haslett Rd. in Haslett, Michigan. From the very beginning, New Hope embraced the specific mission to make the Bible clear, understandable, and approachable, yet applicable to every aspect of life. While a church is not a building (it is a group of believers in Jesus), we have been blessed with significant growth over the years, which necessitated a move to a new and larger church building. The new location at 2170 E. Saginaw Highway in East Lansing opened in 2019 and was built completely with cash donations.
As we approach our 20-year anniversary in 2027, New Hope remains committed to four core values: learning, loving, worship, and prayer.
