What do you love about what you do at NH?
I love interacting with the middle schoolers whether it’s playing games, baking cookies or even spending a weekend with them at camp. I have also really enjoyed preparing lessons for Sunday’s message.

How did you come to know Jesus?
I first heard the gospel message at an early age at camp. He talked about how I was born a sinner and the only way that I could get into heaven was to trust that Jesus could take away that sin. It wasn’t until I asked my parents about what it all meant that I truly put my faith in Jesus.

What’s your favorite Bible verse?
Ephesians 3:20 – Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.

What is your best childhood memory?
My best childhood memory is of my brothers and I at the sand dunes in Alamosa, Colorado. We would go sledding down the hills, play in the river and play football. They are a lot like Sleeping Bear Dunes here in Michigan, but the sand dunes are a lot bigger and surrounded by the Rockies.

What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?
The best advice that I have ever heard was from some friends of mine from Bible college. We were having a discussion about what the purpose of life was. We all agreed that it was to glorify God and enjoy him forever.
