What do you love about what you do at NH?
I love being able to connect with my church family, the members I know and those I don’t yet. 

What year did you join staff?
June 2022

How did you come to know Jesus?
I grew up in a Christian household, but my personal devotion to Jesus came after entering college. He placed specific people in my life who led me to NH and thus, led me back to Him. He showed me how out of control my life had become since I’d “taken the wheel”, and that it was time to return it to Him. I haven’t looked back since because the love and grace I’ve been shown since choosing Him is far better than anything the world could possibly offer. 

What’s your favorite Bible verse?
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  2 Corinthians 10:3-5

What is a skill you’d like to learn and why?
I would like to be fluent in Mandarin Chinese. I have many fond memories of my high school Chinese teacher and his class, so I would like to finish what I had started.   

What’s something you’d like to do the old-fashioned way?
Dress! I love vintage clothing. If society decided that wearing dresses every day and those big hats when you went out to be the norm again, I would be all over it.
