GreenHouse Detroit Service Project
August 14, 2021 - August 15, 2021
The GreenHouse will be going on a service trip to Detroit on Aug 14 – 15, and if you’re a young adult or college student, they’d love for you to come along!
They are serving with Samaritan’s Purse to help recover some of the flooded homes in Detroit. They will be leaving Saturday morning at 5:30am to serve the whole day on Saturday. That night they’ll stay in a hotel, and on Sunday will attend a Tiger’s game before heading back to Lansing.
Samaritan’s Purse is not requiring you to wear a mask while serving but you must have proof of a negative COVID test or proof of vaccine.
Cost Details:
- The cost for the hotel will be $32 – $64 depending on how many people go.
- The Tiger’s game is $34 (which will be optional).
- Gas will be roughly $20.
- Max total cost is $120
