Alcoholics Anonymous

Christians are not immune from the ravages that alcohol abuse can inflict on lives and families. Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) has helped millions of people to find sobriety. New Hope now has two new AA groups and is open to both men and women.

One group meets Monday evenings at 6:00 pm and the second meeting is on Friday evenings at 6:00 pm. Both groups meet in the Prayer Room. Childcare is also now available for the Friday night meetings (infant to 6th Grade).

The AA groups at New Hope look to Jesus Christ as our “higher power” that frees us from addiction, and are open to anyone who has a desire to stop drinking and a willingness to attend a group in which the AA twelve steps and Christian principles will be used as resources for recovery from alcoholism. Participants are free to just show up at the Monday or Friday meetings in the Prayer Room. For further information, call or text Gary Post at (517) 896-2119 or email at [email protected].
